One of the incredible experiences in working with others is that we learn that each person has a unique gift to offer those in need. We are blessed to have volunteers from Canada to Florida who have generously offered their time, energy, and resources to further the outreach efforts of Beacon Light Ministries. However, as the needs of those we serve grow and change every day we are always looking for additional volunteers and countless resources. BLM's first large challenge (of many we pray) is to complete the building of the Children's Nutrition Center in Port-au-Prince. It is only 70% complete and we need to raise the remaining funds to complete the purchase. There is still a lot of work to be done. If you are willing to offer your time or resources, we could use your help to finish. We will feature the needs of other projects in the near future, but listed below is a sample of ways to help the Children's Nutrition Center. |
